“One of Life’s Moments”

Author – Davita Nicole

Think back to when you were a child and what made you happy. It was never the big, complicated things—it was the little moments. The sound of the ice cream truck rolling down the street on a hot summer day. The hours spent with your best friend, doing nothing and yet doing everything. It’s time we find that same space in our careers and our lives—the place where happiness lives in simply being.

Just being able to provide a service to someone and make a difference in their life.
Just being able to feel the care of a friend or loved one for your wellbeing and joy.
Just being able to wake up to another day, to do things better, armed with lessons learned from days past.
Just Beingshould bring you Happiness.

I look back to gain wisdom, I stand still to strengthen my roots, I look forward to stir up my soul

Our course in life becomes clear when we dare to believe in ourselves and the God-given talents placed within us. There are no mistakes—only life—and we have been given this life to enjoy, with a freedom that is both unearned and undeserved.
I have learned to embrace life’s moments for what they are. Some are orchestrated entirely by my own hand; other times, I am simply part of the band. Whether I am the conductor or the follower, it is still my story being written.

Every new season in life deserves to be recognized and embraced. It may be a season to rest, to sow, to grow, or to harvest. In each season, I take note of who I am, where I am, and those who journey alongside me.

And so, my dear friend, I say to you: ‘Tear away your bondage, set your wings free, and open your eyes wide to drink in every drop of life. So that when you step into each new season, you can boldly declare: I look back to gain wisdom, I stand still to strengthen my roots, I look forward to stir my soul, and all who share these moments are forever woven into my story.’
