When it comes to building your Resource Tree it is important that you communicate your situation, needs, expectations and wants to those who can be of assistance or offer resources. When we don’t reach out for help then help can’t come into our zones to assist us in finding that balance within our zones to manage the elements that exist there. Resources are essential to managing balance within your zones. It is important that you identify people, places and things that can resolve some of the issues causing an imbalance in your zones.
Look at resources as a tree. A tree stands firm with strong roots in the ground and broad branches reaching up and out. Each branch has smaller branches and these branches have leaves. As we know, when the season changes the leaves turn beautiful colors and blow away for most trees. However, what we don’t pay attention to is the buds that are attached to the branches waiting for the spring to come again to blossom into new leaves.
Look at the trunk as if it is you. You are strong and reaching downward and upward for nourishment. Your roots are growing deep and out to stabilize you so that you can weather the storm. Your branches are providing shade, beauty, and a place for others and in some cases fruit. Look at your tree and put a name to each branch that can be a resource for you when you need help. Now, look at the smaller branches on the large ones. And then look at the leaves on those branches. This is additional help, guidance, assistance, and resources for you.
Your resources are never-ending. They are never-ending if you communicate your situation, needs, expectations and wants to those who can be of assistance or offer resources. I hope your tree will be rich and bountiful. Just remember it takes commitment and dedication. And don’t forget that you are a branch on someone else’s tree, so share your network and you will reap the harvest. I hope your tree is as bountiful as this one!
